Does Macau bus accept HKD?
I'm curious to know if the buses in Macau accept Hong Kong dollars as a form of payment. I understand that Macau is a special administrative region of China and uses its own currency, the Macao Pataca, but given Hong Kong's close proximity and economic ties with Macau, I'm wondering if the bus companies in Macau accept HKD as a matter of convenience for travelers. Can you clarify whether or not this is the case? It would be great to have this information in order to plan my trip and ensure that I have the right currency on hand when taking public transportation in Macau.
